We are delighted to be offering looms and equipment made by Toika of Finland. Toika are a well established family run company with an excellent reputation for quality and customer service. Founded in 1898 by by two brothers who made reeds, production of hand weaving looms started after the second world war. We intend to bring you the same levels of service that you are used to from My Fine Weaving Yarn with advice and information given freely and without obligation. I own and weave on Toika looms, so am able to to offer you advice based on my experience both as a weaver and owner. The full range of shuttles and metal stretchers is held in stock, A selection of reeds in various lengths and sizes are on order and will be available soon. Looms and larger equipment will need to be ordered. When you place your order we will be able to advise you of the lead time. For looms this is likely to be between 6 and 8 weeks. Reeds and larger pieces of equipment will usually be delivered a little sooner but we will give you an idea of when to expect delivery when you confirm your order. If you are planning a loom purchase we would always suggest you ring to discuss your requirements before placing an order and if you possibly can, come to visit us here in Lutterworth in the East Midlands. Currently we can show you Eeva equipped with 32 shafts and The ES electronic dobby unit and Leena the 24 inch 8 shaft table loom, as well as the full range of shuttles, metal temples and ancillary equipment. In time we hope to be able to add a small floor loom to the collection so you can see and try the range before committing to a purchase. Please note that although our house is registered for the business we do not have shop premises. Please do not arrive without ringing or emailing first to arrange your visit. We are located in Leicestershire just a 5 minute drive from Junction 20 of the M1 and 15 minutes drive from Junction 2 of the M6.
