Venne 12/2Nm Eco Jeans Anthracite - 7006

This is a new yarn from Venne made from 100% recycled denim and plastic. The content is 48% cotton, 47% polyester 5% other fibres. The yarn is recycled from waste denim and recycled plastic bottles made from PET (Polyethylene terephthalate). Worn jeans, jackets and other denim fabric provide the cotton content, the plastic bottles the polyester fibre which are then ring spun into this attractive yarn. Supplied to us on 50g mini cones that measure approximately 300m. It has been spun to a 12/2 metric count that is approximately equivalent to a 7/2 cotton count. This means it can be substituted or used in any project calling for an 8/2 cotton count yarn using similar setts. The yarn weaves into a soft lightly textured fabric, suitable for many uses including scarves and lightweight clothing. It can be used both together as warp and weft or on its own in either direction with other yarns. TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK
